The Global Treasury Controllership (GTC) team is part the Global Corporate Controllership Organization and is responsible for providing comprehensive Treasury support covering all Treasury transactions, including cash, debt, equity, derivative, and investments.
The GTC Middle Office team is responsible for providing critical and comprehensive Treasury support combining accounting, technology know-how, and treasury transaction knowledge and expertise.. The Middle Office literally sits in the Middle of the transaction lifecycle and is involved in virtually all facets of a transaction, including Transaction Advisory, Trade Capture, Confirmation, Settlements, Accounting and Reporting. The FX Controllers team is also part of the Middle Office team and maintains various aspects of the Treasury Management Suite of platforms.
The Vice President, Middle Office Controller is responsible for leading and developing 40+ colleagues based in NY, India and Mexico.
The role involves setting the operations strategy, driving process improvements, ensuring a robust control environment, enhancing capabilities, and simplifying/ transforming platforms to build appropriate scale. The team remit is focused on Operational advisory and excellence, Trade Support, including capture, confirmation, settlements, accounting and reporting for all Capital Markets, Over-the-counter and Foreign Exchange transactions, including FX Spots, FX Swaps and Forwards, Bonds, Commercial Paper, Retail CDs, Interest Rate Swaps, FX Spot and Forwards, Reverse Repos, Investments and Call Money transactions.
The VP also collaborates with a large group of stakeholders and customers in Treasury, Controllership, Technology, General Councils Office, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, etc. to support and provide superior customer service, lead value-creation initiatives and other ad-hoc projects, and drive seamless transaction execution.
