The VP – Trade Management will be part of the Trade Operations team responsible for managing $22+ billion assets of Credit Card Securitization Platforms. Trade operations team supports full trade life cycle activities from debt issuance to maturity activities. In addition, the team is responsible for daily and monthly Investor & SEC reporting, monitoring trust performance, as well as maintaining relationships with banks and cross functional teams internally. This role will primarily be focused on managing one of the three securitization platform (SYNIT Trust) and assist and lead with various project initiatives.
Trust Management and Reporting
Responsible for operational duties to manage confirmation and settlement of transactions to comply with agreed counterparty / regulated requirements, manage daily and monthly monitoring of trust performances and triggers.
Assist in the oversight and analysis of key transaction controls / triggers to ensure accuracy in all of debt life cycle events.
Partner with Capital Markets in supporting and structuring new issuances
Responsible for accurately preparing and validating data for all Securitization Trust external reporting (Noteholders Statement, 10D, and 10K) and internal reporting (dashboards, operational metrics etc.)
Collaborate with external vendor to ensure accurate monthly SEC filing and maintenance of reports and confirmation documents in adherence to regulation requirements.
Responsible for maintaining process artifacts for various processes & adherence to policies.
Manage relationship with the controllership team daily/monthly to ensure accurate journal entries are posted related to securitization activities.
Maintain a strong process control framework, accuracy & consistency in the confirmation and settlement of all products and zero tolerance for error across all securitization transactions and reporting.
Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders to adapt Trade Management service offering to changing customer requirements.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Assist with ABS Suite roadmap projects as assigned to meet firm deadlines
Coordinate with cross functional teams (Capital Markets, Readiness, legal, Controllership etc.) as needed to finalize requirements for new initiatives to be implemented in ABS Suite.
Partner with ABS Systems team and external vender (Moodys) on timely completion of ABS Suite Projects
Lead the optimization and standardization for various securitization processes to eliminate manual inputs and simplify
Bachelors Degree in finance, economics or related field or in lieu of degree, 10 years equivalent experience.
5 years experience in Asset Backed Securities / secured debt management / issuance
Prior work experience in Finance, Capital Markets or Treasury
Exposure to Foreign Exchange, unsecured Debt and Interest rate derivative instruments is an advantage
Knowledge of ABS Suite or other similar systems.
Strong ability to analyze results and data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and think outside the box and work independently & as part of a team
Strong interpersonal, communication and process skills
Experience in collaboration on cross-functional teams and leading projects/initiatives
Strong attention to detail as well as project management, organization and time management skills
Proficient use of financial systems and Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects).
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. The salary range for this position is 85,000.00 – 170,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
